Choose one of these options from the Modify menu on the Home Ribbon:
| • | Horizontal Roof: The roof slopes toward the front and rear of the structure. |

| • | Vertical Roof: The roof slopes toward the left and right of the structure. |

| • | Hip Roof: The roof slopes toward all sides of the structure. |

Construction - To choose rafters or trusses, choose the desired option from the Modify menu on the Home Ribbon.
| 1. | Rafters - Selecting this option will design the roof structure with individual pieces of lumber to create the rafter structure. |
| 2. | Trusses - Selecting this option will use pre-designed roof trusses for the roof structure. |
